Aunque la fusión química de Buddy Miles de psicodélia, blues, y soul no se unió de verdad hasta su obra maestra “Them Changes”, su LP debut, “Expressway to Your Skull”, muestra una inspiración y declaración original del intento. Cada una de las siete canciones del álbum es un montaje fascinante de sonidos y de estilos.

Buddy Miles surely deserves a special place as a drummer and also as singer in the history of rock, blues and soul music. His version of Neil Young's Down by the River shows that and all his contributions with other musicians is also proves it. Thanks for this one.
